On the 1st April 2024, under the Academies Act 2010, Ardleigh St Mary’s became an Academy, part of Canonium Learning Trust.  At the time of conversion, the existing (predecessor) school, Ardleigh St Mary’s CEVC Primary School, closed and the new Academy, Ardleigh St Mary’s CofE Primary Academy, opened in its place. 

The new Academy is now under the leadership of the Canonium Learning Trust.

Since becoming an Academy, Ardleigh St Mary’s has not yet received an Ofsted inspection under section 5 or section 8 of the Education Act 2005 and therefore we are not able to provide a current report or a graded judgement on the overall effectiveness of the Academy.

We warmly invite parents and carers of prospective pupils to visit our school to aid in their decision-making process regarding school choices.
