We offer a broad and balanced curriculum to all our pupils regardless of their starting points. The majority of learning takes place on site but we also take children out on visits and residential experiences.
Our school was founded in 1865 to serve the village of Ardleigh. Attached to the school is the School House, which contains the administration and reception area along with a staff room and our Head of School's office.
There are three classrooms in the main building for Blossom (Year 3 and 4) and Beech (Year 5 and 6). We also have a fully-stocked library and area for small group teaching. We have two demountable buildings for Seedling (Reception) and Sapling (Year 1 & 2).
The school has a separate building housing a large hall, kitchen and toilets which was completed in 2005. This, along with our outdoor learning area, school garden forest school area and extensive outdoor space, offers us wonderful opportunities to broaden our curriculum and further develop our links with the community.
